Our Mission Fresh Start Women's Foundation helps women help themselves.
Jewell McFarland Lewis Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, The Jewell McFarland Lewis Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center, which opened in October, 2002, is the first comprehensive, self-help center for women in the country. The Center is designed for women ages 18 years or older who are seeking information, resources and assistance in their quest for emotional and financial independence. There are no qualifying criteria to be met before women can obtain assistance at the center. |
Financial Fitness Book
In 1996 Fresh Start published a book that helps women understand the basics of finance. In this handy, practical 228-page workbook, women will learn budget basics, how to teach their children about money and identify triggers to keep good credit. “A Woman’s Guide to Taking Charge – Basic Tools for Managing Your Money” is on sale at the Jewell McFarland Lewis-Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center. Cover price is $14.95 but copies are now on sale for just $7.00. |
